Orininally posted [in error to Andrew's blog] 11/26/06:
Pin Action Jackson here! a.k.a. Andrew’s Aunt Jackie. As a fellow bowler and secretary for our Rouge League and Charity Starts at Home League both played at Lincoln Square Bowl on Chicago’s north side, I wanted to see what you snakes are up to. PRETTY GOOD BOWLING SNAKES!
Lincoln Square Lanes is located on the second floor above an Ace Hardware. It is very old fashion, 12 lanes with manual scoring. Good beer prices and our ‘hosts’ Sheila and Ralph are the best! All Bowling Alleys in Chicago went nonsmoking in January 2006. It SUCKS! They are classified as a ’sports areana’, same as Wrigley Field and the United Center. What the hell kinda sence does that make?
Anyway, my team the Torre’adores currently is holding a 557 average 194 HC. Our lead off man Torre Anderson 150, Pin Action Jackson 116, Jeff Pop 140, and Paul Yamada 151. We are currently in 7th place in a 10 team league, yet this is party due to having Dave Rucins on the DL for several weeks before Jeff officially joined the team.
Our High Leage scores are Ladies: Erin 243, Stacy 195, and Melissa 188 Men: Augie 264, Big Daddy Lagowski 254, Tyler Timberlake 244.
Spare No One!
UPDATE: 12/11/06 Torre'adores won the Tournament. Exactly how we pulled that one off is still a bit puzzling but we won it fair and square.
